Our philosophy is founded on a desire to share our farm with people who want to learn more about organic gardening, the slow food movement, art and history.
Currently we are designed to offer day visits which will initiate you and your family or friends to the lifestyle of country living in a sustainable way. This means bring your own botanical bug spray and look forward to the sounds of nature.
As the season progresses and harvests become bountiful, we will offer a”pick your own” opportunity. The goal is to grow enough to sustain ourselves plus our added value product line and our local farmers market.
For those who wish to sign up on the shares program, we will offer space to grow your own and will be expected to help with the farm chores, thus allowing for a collective experience to learn and grow. If you are visiting as a day visitor or for multiple days and interested in learning the basics, then you will be able to get your hands dirty and take home skills you can use to improve your health and well being.
